David has spent the past 20 years predominantly farming sheep, beef and deer across Canterbury and Otago, after completing a Diploma in Farm Management. In the past seven, adjusting his focus into a more regenerative approach to farming and land management. He is highly competent in all things stock, machinery, fencing, project management and farm systems design.

In this time he has also managed and prepared a cropping farm for sale, managed a 6,500ha regeneration project on a high country station in Hawea, and managed a unique project in Glenorchy for a Chinese family, where pest control, building and fencing were the core focus as the aim was to let 90% of the property regenerate into native beech forest, and used 10% to investigate multiple high value, low volume crops, organically, for human health.

At the moment David is developing a 50ha cherry orchard near Cromwell as we settle into our new life and location while developing our own varied and exciting property development.
